2. Ober Mountain’s 28th Annual Easter Sunrise Service (Gatlinburg)
Why You Should Go: This free Easter experience allows you and your family to celebrate from 2,700 feet above Gatlinburg with a beautiful Easter sunrise Church service that is hosted at Ober Mountain.
What to Expect: They offer complimentary tram rides to the top of the mountain beginning at 5 a.m. along with coffee and snacks that are available at the market.
Parent Tip: There is a live broadcast of the service for those who can’t attend in person, and it’s free in person.

3. Family Egg Hunt at the Memphis Botanical Garden (Memphis)
Why You Should Go: The Family Egg Hunt will officially return to the Memphis Botanical Garden. They have a self-guided Bunny Trail, a hunt for “golden” eggs and tons more of unique spring fun.
What to Expect: Kids are able to explore the garden while collecting eggs and special treats, while parents can enjoy food truck options and entertainment.
Parent Tip: After your hunt consider a family picnic or strolling along to view the flowers.

4. 30,000 Easter Eggs at Discovery Park (Union City)
Why You Should Go: Discovery Park of America and Crosswind Church have historically teamed up for the largest Easter egg hunt in the region, and will hopefully do so again for 2025.
What to Expect: This hunt has over 30,000 eggs, ensuring that every kid will have plenty of chances to find candy-filled treats. Entertainment includes music, bounce houses, and photo ops with the Easter Bunny.
Parent Tip: Make sure your child doesn’t take too many eggs, so every kid has the chance to grab some.

5. Dolly Parton’s Stampede Easter Show (Pigeon Forge)
Why You Should Go: This exciting Easter-themed show at Dolly Parton’s Stampede features thrilling horse-riding stunts, spectacular effects and great comedians.
What to Expect: They provide a four-course meal, live entertainment and an annual Easter-themed performance.
Parent Tip: The family-friendly atmosphere and comedy duo of Skeeter & Nugget makes this the perfect Easter plan.

6. Zoo Knoxville Big Egg Hunt (Knoxville)
Why You Should Go: The annual Big Egg Hunt at Zoo Knoxville is a great family event that offers kids a chance to meet the Easter Bunny and receive some cool stuff.
What to Expect: A classic Easter eggs hunt, plus everyone gets a stuffed animal and is entered for a chance to win zoo memberships.
Parent Tip: Make sure to bring your own basket for the hunt.

7. Community Egg Hunt at A.K. Bissell Park (Oak Ridge)
Why You Should Go: The City of Oak Ridge hosts a free, annual Easter egg hunt at A.K. Bissell Park. They also have volunteer opportunities for kids and parents.
What to Expect: A traditional egg hunt and unique, Easter-themed arts and crafts, as well as volunteer opportunities
Parent Tip: Be sure to pre-register for the event if you want to help with planning and egg distribution.

8. Easter Scavenger Hunt at The Hermitage (Nashville)
Why You Should Go: This fun scavenger hunt through Andrew Jackson’s historic mansion is perfect for families who enjoy something that requires you to put on your thinking caps.
What to Expect: Here you get to help find the “rats” that have invaded the mansion in a fun, interactive Easter scavenger hunt.
Parent Tip: After the hunt families can head to the Museum Store for a small token as a souvenir to bring home.

9. Main Street Festival (Franklin)
Why You Should Go: Main Street Festival is one of of Tennessee’s most popular, with over 200 vendors, the arts, crafts, food and fun will keep the whole family entertained for hours.
What to Expect: Along with special arts and crafts, the festival has live entertainment, food trucks, and other kid-friendly activities and games, including an egg hunt.
Parent Tip: The egg hunt is especially fun for younger kids, but get there early, as there has previously been over 120,000 visitors per year.

10. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and Mermaids at the Aquarium Restaurant (Nashville)
Why You Should Go: Families come to enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet and get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Plus, kids can marvel at the mystical mermaids swimming around them.
What to Expect: The Easter buffet includes scrambled eggs, French toast, sausage, tie-dye pancakes, hashbrown casserole, honey-glazed ham, fresh fruit, cereals, and pastries. Seating starts at 9 a.m.
